Job Description:

• Under Direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
• Provides information for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.
• May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training.
• The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making.
• Technical knowledge required is limited to the tasks performed in own discipline area and is considered basic.
• The tasks are generally routine and manual.
• The job is expected to follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations. Typically requires selecting between solutions already established.
• Working within 3 teams
• Open boxes from UPS and scan parts into ERP system
• Make sure parts match number
• Need strong attentional to detail
• Put away about 10,000 parts across all teams in their building
• Part of 5 person team
• Nothing is hand written or hand scanned; need to use scanner through system
• Very high volume
• Need to be an individual worker and focused/driven
• Converting to new ERP system in a few months
• Must wear comfortable shoes; usually log 15k+ steps a day so need to be active and able to be physical
• Won't be lifting heavy boxes, at most 50 lbs
