• 2:30 PM Industry warehousing & distribution (Transportation and Material Moving Occupations) Reference number S_176108 Spherion is hiring Material Handlers for a leading logistics company in Plainfield, IN.

The Material Handler position is a very manual and physical position. Candidates will be processing 3-4 floor loaded trucks per day and stacking cases on pallets in the process. The cases are 20 pounds each and candidates can expect to staff roughly 2500 cases per shift. Ideally applicants will have previous experiencing working as a Material Handler, mover, or other similar role. Good attendance is also crucial for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Process 3-4 floor loaded trucks a day
• stack cases on pallets (20 pounds each, 2500 per shift)? Support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility ? Construct packaging boxes and pick merchandise ? Verify orders, label products and utilize a handheld scanner ? Unload Inbound Containers and stack and sort products received Working hours: 6:00 AM

• Quality control
• Previous experience working for a moving company
• Previous experience in construction, heavy industrial work, or other physically demanding position
