Job Description

Description Paint Material Handler - to organize and stage helmet shells for painting enabling our painters to be efficient and reduce color changes. Our paint department puts the proper color and finish on our football and other helmets according to team specifications where they can be seen by millions on TV. This entry level position provides a starting point for your career as we reward good work and the eagerness to do more by promoting from within.
Responsibilities and Objectives:
Follow SOP to enable the paint department to efficiently produce quality products with minimal waste. Review daily work orders, stage the proper number of helmet shells on the racks for painting by color, then type. This includes identifying shells, sanding repaints, plus decal and tape application. Learn to Understand, trouble shoot and correct typical paint defects, plus match paint to samples. Look for and communicate ideas to improve the department's performance, including production, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements and Experience:
The ability to learn and understand our products and production methods Basic computer skills, including the ability to learn our systems and Microsoft Office Suite of Products. The ability to follow SOPs, directions, and attention to detail are essential skills.
Pay:
