In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, supporting secondary manufacturing processes, and ensuring the smooth flow of production. Your expertise will help maintain high-quality standards and optimize workflow within our factory environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in machining, fabrication, and materials handling while contributing to innovative manufacturing solutions. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and other hand tools to move raw materials and packaging supplies throughout the facility. Assist in the setup and operation of secondary manufacturing equipment such as drill press, hone, broach, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, saw, and grinder. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), CAD drawings, and technical documents to ensure accurate material processing. Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications. Maintain inventory accuracy by organizing materials within the warehouse and preparing items for packaging or further machining. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of factory operations and materials handling. Proficiency in operating forklifts, hand tools, and basic shop equipment. Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, Familiarity with quality measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in machining, assembly, tooling adjustments, and packaging processes. Ability to follow safety protocols. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for quality control and process adjustments. Warehouse experience or familiarity with factory logistics is highly desirable.
