Job Description

We specialize in manufacturing and distributing a wide range of products, including doors, windows, ventilation systems, fasteners, and closures, serving contractors and builders with comprehensive solutions for their projects. Job Summary The Receiver is responsible for efficiently unloading, inspecting, processing and organizing incoming materials ensuring accurate inventory management, proper material flow, and supporting production operations while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips Unload and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment inside and outside Label, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations for easy access Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, components, and finished products Keep saw department stocked with parts at all times Handle materials carefully to prevent damage and ensure all products meet quality standard Assist with tracking inventory by accurately labeling, tagging, organizing and properly storing materials in designated areas Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions Assist with manual material handling tasks as needed Perform daily inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues Maintain an organized and clean work area to optimize workflow Knowledge/Skill/Abilities Ability to safely operate a forklift Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisor Familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling best practices Ability to meet established efficiencies, follow and support company policies Ability to follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment Programs/Machinery/Tools/Equipment Forklift, pallet jacks Required Education/Credentials/Experience Minimum 1-2 Years' related experience operating a forklift

From $21.00 per hour
