Purpose:

In this role you will be working in a shipping station with a small team of employees, you will package and process customer orders for parcel shipment accurately and within lead time. We pride ourselves on same-day or next-day order fulfillment! Responsibilities:

Process and Package Customer Orders Receive a variety of bulk orders from pickers Build/modify boxes as necessary per packaging/shipper requirements Ensure all orders are packaged with the correct product and quantity Ensure all orders are processed for shipment accurately, utilizing Vikan North America's shipping software and/or carrier websites as required Affix the necessary and correct shipping labels and/or documentation to the appropriate package(s)/pallet(s) Place package(s)/pallet(s) in the designated area for carrier pick-up Orders should be packaged in a way that protects the product during transit and minimizes the amount of open space/air in the box(es) or on the pallet(s) Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and observe company housekeeping standards. Complete weekly Shine assignment

Requirements:

At least 1 year of order fulfillment experience Able to reason and work within a set of standards while using logic and math skills Must be able to stand and move around individual station for duration of shift Must be able to consistently kneel, lift, reach, pack, and transfer small items, rarely exceeding 20 pounds but sometimes awkward.

Preferences:

Experience fulfilling for Amazon is highly desired Basic computer skills with WMS experience a strong plus
