These roles are common in industries such as metal stamping, plastics extrusion, packaging, and wood processing. Typical Responsibilities Operating and monitoring high-speed machinery (e.g., punch presses, extruders, thermoformers, pouch machines) to meet production targets Setting up and adjusting machines according to blueprints, job orders, or process sheets Quality control — inspecting parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and conformance to specifications Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and reporting major problems to maintenance Changeovers — switching between products or materials efficiently Safety compliance — following strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area Required Skills Attention to detail and precision in measurements (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) Linkedin +1 .
