In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials within our facility. Responsibilities Load and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and track inventory. Manage order picking processes efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders. Safely load materials onto trucks for shipping and receive incoming shipments with precision. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials on pallets or shelves. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment to ensure data accuracy. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize material flow and improve operational efficiency through mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation expertise. Must be able to drive stand up and sit down forklift. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, crane equipment, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picker technology. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership potential.
