Material Handler Job Description This role supports a busy warehouse and production printing operation by handling materials, picking orders, maintaining a clean and organized facility, and assisting with production press coverage. You will work in a hands-on, multi-functional position that combines order picking, forklift operation, container unloading, and general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, detail-oriented, and enjoys a variety of tasks throughout the day. Responsibilities + Pick warehouse orders accurately and efficiently to support daily production and shipping needs. + Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely to move pallets, materials, and finished goods throughout the facility. + Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products as needed. + Help unload containers by hand, ensuring products are handled carefully and placed in the correct locations. + Support shipping and receiving activities by assisting with packing, staging, and organizing outgoing and incoming materials. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and production area by performing regular housekeeping tasks. + Cover breaks on production printing presses and assist with general production tasks as needed. + Monitor warehouse inventory locations and support basic inventory control activities. + Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and moving materials. + Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to keep operations running smoothly. + Use computers, iPads, and software systems to access orders, update information, and support warehouse workflows. + Adapt to changing priorities and step into different tasks across the warehouse and production floor as required. Essential Skills + At least 1+ years of manufacturing experience. + At least 1+ years of material handling or similar experience. + Sit-down forklift operating experience and demonstrated ability to operate safely. + Experience with general warehouse activities such as picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. + Ability to operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment. + Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use an iPad and learn new software systems. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order pickin To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
