This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety standards. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will contribute to maintaining smooth shipping and receiving processes, supporting overall warehouse productivity. Responsibilities Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes, adhering to safety protocols. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements. Perform order picking using pickers and ensure precise selection for shipping orders. Handle heavy lifting tasks safely, utilizing pallet jacks and other mechanical tools. Manage shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment like forklifts and cranes, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. Assist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and materials handling tasks as needed. Support warehouse supervisors in daily operations and process improvements related to heavy equipment operation.
