Position Summary… What you'll do… + Completes work assignments and priorities by: + Using policies, data, and resources + Collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners + Identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations + Carrying out tasks efficiently + Communicating progress and relevant information + Determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities + Adapting to and learning from changes, challenges, and feedback + Manages freight flow by: + Moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment (e.g., single and double pallet jacks, lift pacers) + Identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight + Utilizing warehouse management systems, terminals, scales, and scanners + Maintaining accurate records, logs, and forms + Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by: + Implementing related action plans + Using the Open Door Policy + Applying these principles in executing business processes and practices + Maintains organization and freight flow by: + Keeping the work area clean and organized + Stacking empty pallets + Moving empty pallets using pallet jacks and/or powered equipment + Monitors freight to: + Ensure cold chain compliance + Ensure species compliance + Core skills and competencies: + Palletizing + Machinery operation + Ethical standards and conduct + Cold chain management + Material handling + Order picking + Pallet jack operation Respect the
