Warehouse Worker Job Description This position involves moving materials within the warehouse, occasionally using a forklift. It is labor-intensive and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role includes forklift driving, machine operation (specifically saw operation), and inventory tracking. The warehouse supplies hard metals such as steel and titanium to the aerospace industry. Responsibilities Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse. Perform saw operations as part of machine operating duties. Track inventory to ensure accurate records and stock levels. Handle materials, ensuring safe and efficient movement within the warehouse. Participate in shipping and receiving tasks as required. Essential Skills Proficiency in saw operation. Work Environment The work environment includes a warehouse setting with shifts available from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM for the first shift, and from 2:30 PM to 11 PM for the second shift. Dress comfortably as the role is physically demanding, and be prepared to work additional hours if needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
