Shipping Material Handler

Job Responsibilities:

Manually or using forklift, perform various material handling duties in the facility, including loading and unloading of trucks and containers, and other duties as assigned.

Specific Skills Required:

The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and committed to following established procedures to work within the stock locator system. Ability to operate a computer with a high degree of accuracy is a must. Must have good math skills, keep accurate records and read work orders, pick slips, requisitions, memos and other paperwork.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and bend, including unloading of containers. This is physical, fast-paced work that involves lifting, lowering, and pushing and pulling packages weighing 25-35 pounds, some up to 70 pounds. Must have or be able to obtain a company tow motor license. Must be able to move skids of material with hand pallet trucks when necessary and floor load trucks as needed. Lifting and bending is required.

Other Requirements:

Must be able to work well with others. Commitment to following all safety standards and good housekeeping required. $15.00 an hour. 1st Shift position available.
