Full-time.
Pay:
Hourly Position. This is a 40 hour a week position. Any overtime must be pre-approved by Production Manager / CBB Partners.
Bonus:
To be determined based on performance. The Logistics position will assist in warehousing, shipping and receiving at both our Georgetown and Lexington locations. This will include working with Shipping and Receiving to make sure all incoming and outgoing product is processed in a timely and accurate manner. Logistics primary job will be movement of product between facilities, keeping up with maintenance on a box truck, assisting in pulling and loading outgoing orders accurately, receiving incoming shipments, and keeping both warehouses clean and orderly. Their responsibilities may also include washing kegs, working on packaging lines, and organizing stock using a forklift and pallet jack. Logistics is expected to be punctual and self-motivated. They should contribute to a healthy and positive environment for their shift.
Requirements Daily Duties, Functions, Responsibilities:
  • Oversee storage and movement of raw materials, packaged beer, taproom swag, and other items at and between both locations using a box truck.
  • Oversee verifying amounts of and storing incoming shipments, inventory control processes, product rotation, assembling and loading customer orders, and keeping accurate records.
  • Work closely with the Shipping and Receiving to achieve comprehensive production goals.
  • Participate in sensory tastings to "pass" beer.
  • Work to enforce all safety procedures.
  • Periodic handling of hazardous chemicals.
  • oversee shift maintenance of all warehouse areas including equipment
  • (Keg washers, keg storage, Grain storage, Production cooler, Storage cooler, General storage).
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs when necessary.
  • Oversee the maintenance of box truck and future fleet and keep up to date of all DOT standards including personal medical card, cdl (if applicable), etc.
  • Assist in the daily checklist of all forklifts.
  • Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules to maintain a clean working environment.
  • Attend production meetings when necessary.
  • Have a working knowledge of all aspects of both warehouse areas.
  • Represents Country Boy Brewing at beer festivals and events when appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned by Logistics Specialist and Production Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of practices, methods, tools, and equipment used in the warehouse aspect of production and pub-style breweries.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions associated with work.
  • Ability to interpret technical bulletins and schematics on equipment related to work.
  • Ability to proficiently operate a forklift.
  • Ability to operate a large truck safely.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Minimum of 2-year experience working in a warehouse or like-environment.
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be 21 years of age.
