The Material Handler must adhere to EHS policies, procedures, and regulations at all times. Ensure compliance to all EHS policies and procedures. Move, stack, and store material and finished products. Operate forklift daily, as needed Operate stretch wrap machine, as needed Keep work area clean and neat throughout the shift. Supply machines with required and correct materials. Communicate with Production Coordinator daily. Respond to line breaks and board buckles. Place finished products in designated rows neatly and evenly. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED with previous manufacturing facility experience is preferred. Basic math skills required. Accurately document and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Proficient in the safe use of utility knives, hand and automatic banders, band cutters, staple gun, shrink wrapper and radial saw. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required. Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. The volume of work requires the handling of multiple tasks on multiple products.
