FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER
  • TITLE 32, WG-5413-9, you will organize, administer and evalue a segment of the fuels quality assurance program for the organizion.
Ensure responsibilities for product compliance inspections of all petroleum activities. Extract fuel samples and conduct approprie tests. Conduct surveys and inspections of petroleum products. Advise supervisors on quality problems and corrective actions. Provide technical assistance to personnel to improve quality and enhance safety of equipment and workers. Prepare local opering procedures. Assist in managing fiscal resources for the quality assurance program. Direct, inspect, opere and maintain complete fuels distribution system(s) to receive, store, transfer and issue both aviion and ground fuels. Opere petroleum products distribution equipment. Inspect systems for leakage, corrosion, faulty fittings, and inoperive components, and preform operor maintenance. Receive and transfer fuel by coupling and uncoupling hoses, closing and opening valves, starting and stopping pumps, monitoring gauges, meters and filter separors. Maintain hazardous waste management program. Opere special purpose design aviion and ground fuel tank truck vehicles used for fueling/defueling aircraft and ground fuels applicions. Opere deadman control safety system and coordine with personnel the aircraft or receiving point. Opere, inspect and perform required maintenance and repair on 400-5,000 gallon cryogenic storage tanks. Troubleshoot, test, and repair mechanical & electrical systems and subcomponents. Maintain inspection and maintenance records. Perform quality control of cryogenic products. Assess, monitor and reviews assigned Self

Maintain a consolided tool kit program. Plan, monitor and conduct On-The-Job Training for assigned Fuels Management Flight personnel. RANK REQUIREMENT

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
You must maintain membership in the Kentucky Nional Guard. You must be assigned to a compible military position. Wear of the military uniform. May be subject to furlough actions. May be required to successfully complete a probionary period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. Must obtain a favorable adjudicion of a T3 or equivalent investigion. Acceptance of a Federal position may termine a military bonus. Acceptance of a Federal position will termine Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Experience which demonstres the ability to follow instructions and to safely opere the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must have least 18 months experience opering, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and overhauling fuel systems and components. Experience initiing and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by opering high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipelines or multi-fuel storage and distribution facilities connected by a network of internal pipelines.
