Job Description

Job Title:
Operator / Material Handler Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and shut down bottling and packaging equipment according to established procedures. Handle both liquid and powder chemicals safely while repackaging them into smaller containers as specified by customers. Perform material handling tasks, including moving, staging, and organizing raw materials and finished products. Use forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials and products as needed. Assemble, pick, and pack products accurately to meet order and production requirements. Inspect products, packaging, and labels to ensure quality standards and GMP requirements are met. Follow very structured documentation practices, including reading, completing, and maintaining production records in English. Adhere to all GMP protocols and standard operating procedures throughout daily activities. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety rules, including restrictions on contact lenses. Perform general labor duties on the production floor, including lifting and moving items weighing 40-75 lbs on a regular basis. Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including clean room environments, to support safe and efficient operations. Collaborate with team members and shift personnel to meet production targets and maintain smooth workflow. Essential Skills Ability to perform extensive manual labor throughout the shift. Ability to read and write English to follow instructions and complete detailed documentation in compliance with GMP. Capability to lift and move 40-75 lbs repeatedly during the workday. Experience working in production, assembly, or general labor roles. Ability to operate basic production and packaging machinery safely. Material handling experience, including picking, packing, and staging materials. Forklift operation experience or ability to learn forklift operation in a production environment. Strong work history with good tenure, such as at least one year in prior positions or extended tenure across roles. Willingness to work in a highly regulated, structured environment with strict protocols and documentation requirements. Ability to work in clean room attire, which can become warm during physical activity. Compliance with safety requirements, including not wearing contact lenses and using prescription safety glasses when needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paris, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.06 - $21.06/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
