Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance professional to join our warehousing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities by performing regular upkeep, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and infrastructure. This position requires a proactive individual capable of identifying potential issues before they escalate, thereby minimizing downtime and maintaining a safe working environment. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse supervisors and staff to prioritize maintenance tasks, adhere to safety regulations, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality Implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facility systems Conduct regular maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other critical infrastructure Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and execute timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and assist in developing and executing emergency response plans Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, repairs, and inventory tracking Establish and manage inventory of critical maintenance supplies to support continuous operations Collaborate with warehouse management to schedule maintenance tasks during non-peak hours to maximize productivity Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, equipment servicing, and facility improvements Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery within the warehouse Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards Requirements Proven experience in maintenance, preferably within a warehousing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, preventative approach Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements in an industrial setting Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed Preferred Skills & Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude Experience with electrical work and carpentry Forklift and scissor lift certification Additional (Plus) Skills Plumbing and HVAC experience Skid steer operation CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Experience with paint pump systems
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
