Warehouse/Shop Worker

Overview TWA Erectors is seeking a dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented Warehouse / Shop Keeper to support daily warehouse, yard, and office operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining an organized and efficient work environment while ensuring materials, tools, equipment, and deliveries are properly managed and accounted for. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. This individual must be comfortable operating warehouse equipment, lifting heavy materials, assisting with site upkeep, and supporting the overall flow of operations for field and office personnel. Responsibilities Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, shop, yard, and office property Receive, inspect, unload, and stock incoming materials and deliveries Track and organize inventory, tools, consumables, and equipment Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for upcoming jobs and field crews Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Operate an extended reach forklift and other warehouse machinery/equipment safely Assist with material pickups, deliveries, and errands as needed Keep aisles, storage areas, and laydown yards organized and accessible Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and office staff regarding inventory and material needs Assist with maintaining smooth office and shop operations Support additional shop, warehouse, or facility-related duties as assigned Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate operational needs Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials Experience operating an extended reach forklift and warehouse equipment Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record Comfortable driving company vehicles and hauling materials/equipment when required OSHA safety mindset with commitment to safe work practices Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction materials/tools preferred Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification) Preferred Traits Dependable and punctual Team-oriented with good communication skills Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized facility Willingness to assist wherever needed to support the team Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials frequently Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely operate forklifts, lifts, trailers, and warehouse equipment
