Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouseman to support daily warehouse operations in Convent, Louisiana. This position requires a physically capable individual who can safely operate material handling equipment, maintain organized inventory, and assist with receiving, storing, and distributing materials. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable using basic computer systems Duties Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments. Organize, store, and track inventory within the warehouse. Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation. Utilize basic computer programs for inventory tracking, shipping, and receiving activities. Ensure materials are properly staged and prepared for delivery or production needs. Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned. Requirements Previous warehouse experience preferred. Current or previous forklift certification required. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management systems. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials regularly. Must be physically fit and capable of working in an active industrial environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Must have reliable transportation to Convent, LA. Ability to pass any required pre-employment screenings.
