Job Description

Parts Warehouse Clerk Summary:
The Parts Warehouse Clerk operates under the supervision of the Parts Manager and Parts Warehouse Supervisor and is primarily responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records, and organizing the shipping of products stored in the warehouse.

Picker:
Pull, organize, and deliver products for customer orders Build delivery routes and dispatch drivers Organize for the shipping of products stored in the warehouse Operate a forklift to load, unload, or sort product Maintain a clean and safe working environment Report any discrepancies in inventoried products to Parts Warehouse Supervisor Collaborate with Parts Warehouse Supervisor on creative solutions to inventory issues as they arise Other duties as assigned As a
Putter:
Receive, sort, and store new and existing products Take inventory and keep records of products stored in the warehouse Organize for the shipping of products stored in the warehouse Operate a forklift to load, unload, or sort product Maintain a clean and safe working environment Report any discrepancies in inventoried products to Parts Warehouse Supervisor Collaborating with Parts Warehouse Supervisor on creative solutions to inventory issues Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Prior Forklift Certification preferred, but not required (Picker) Class D license required
Work Environment:
The employee will be exposed to moving parts. Exposed also to grease, chemicals, dust, dirt, and the heat and cold of the outdoors. This position requires the employee to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Employees must also be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
