Position Summary The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by coordinating incoming and outgoing material orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse supplies and equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role supports field contractors and telecom construction crews by maintaining warehouse readiness and material availability. Responsibilities Coordinate daily incoming and outgoing material and supply orders for contractors and field crews Coordinate pick-up schedules and ensure timely order readiness Organize warehouse invoices and maintain inventory records within inventory management systems Maintain accurate inventory levels and organization of warehouse stock locations Maintain warehouse equipment, tools, lifts, and overall cleanliness and organization Maintain working knowledge of materials, part names, and corresponding item numbers Verify deliveries against invoices and shipment documentation during unloading activities Communicate and follow up with suppliers, contractors, and field crews as needed Support warehouse operational readiness and supply availability for field projects Qualifications Warehouse experience preferred Forklift Certification preferred Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and discretion Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows operating systems, and inventory software systems Ability to perform on-the-spot mental math calculations Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently throughout the workday Experience supporting construction, telecom, utility, or field operations environments preferred Work Environment Office and warehouse environment Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and material handling activities required Benefits 401(k) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Career growth opportunities Team-oriented work environment Schedule Monday - Friday In-person position Warehouse environment work location
