Our product line includes strapping, rope, twine, stretch film, tools, corrugated tape, janitorial products, and much more. CWC is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to be part of our warehouse team and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse in our New Orleans branch facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Process inbound/outbound shipments and branch transfers. Pick, pack, & ship orders. Unload containers and other vendor shipments. Reconcile discrepancies in inventory records. Schedule shipments and negotiate to obtain the best rates available. Maintain appropriate service levels to internal & external customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Minimum 1 years of warehouse experience. Possess basic computer skills including Outlook and Internet Explorer. Willing to work overtime when required. Good physical condition. Ability to climb, stoop, bend, crawl & kneel. Ability to lift 70 lbs. Speak English clearly and write legibly. Ability to drive a forklift - certification preferred. Positive and pro-active attitude.
