Full Job Description Reports To:
Branch Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure products are delivered on schedule and in proper condition with a high level of professionalism.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pack and load products onto trucks before delivering orders to customers on predetermined routes. Unload goods as per client specifications Review delivery with customer to ensure product meets customer needs. Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer Will adhere to route and deliver each order on time with a high level of professionalism. Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods. Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher Attend all safety related meetings, and/or training in a professional manner. Receive and Count Stock Materials. Pull Stock and make ready for Delivery to Customer. Pull Stock after hours / Will be on rotating On Call List for after hours and weekend call outs
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1-2 years delivery driver experience Clean driving record Ability to pass background check, and drug test
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
High school Diploma.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Ability to manage time effectively. Good communication skills. Mature, dependable, confident, organized and adaptable to change.
