Shop Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience working in a warehouse environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with hand and power tools, assemble components, fabricate materials, and operate forklifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly and fabrication of products
• Operate hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Support inventory management by tracking supplies and materials
• Operate forklifts to move materials within the shop
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

• Experience:

• Fence industry knowledge
• Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to assemble and fabricate components accurately
