In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of warehouse functions, ensuring smooth inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and efficient materials handling. Your contributions will help keep our supply chain moving seamlessly, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock counting, replenishment, and cycle counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, and moving materials Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments against documentation, and preparing items for shipment or storage Participate in order picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities to ensure timely delivery of products Handle materials with care during stocking, packaging, and materials handling to prevent damage and ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA safety regulations Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency Experience Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with inventory control systems such as AS400 or other warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment like forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or pallet jacks is highly desirable; certification is a plus Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation Mechanical aptitude or construction background can be beneficial for understanding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts Experience with order picking using pickers or similar tools enhances efficiency in fulfilling customer orders Join us as a Warehouse Helper to develop your skills in a vibrant environment where safety, teamwork, and operational excellence are prioritized.
