Job Description
Job Description Planting trees, building landscapes, and helping run one of the largest production nurseries in the Pioneer Valley. Over the course of the year, you'll work in both sides of the business. Your day-to-day will depend on the season and which projects we have in the pipeline. Landscape Maintenance — mowing, mulching, pruning, etc. at customer properties, taking care to deliver an exceptional work product. Landscape construction — planting trees, shrubs, and perennials on residential, commercial, and municipal job sites. Assisting foremen on hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Grading, soil prep, and finish work. Nursery operations — fertilizing, pruning, and maintaining 20+ acres of growing stock. Digging and balling field-grown trees. Tagging inventory, loading trucks, and filling wholesale orders for landscapers and municipalities across New England. Winter work — snow removal for commercial and residential clients, nursery pruning, equipment maintenance in our heated workshop, and preparing stock for spring.
