Material Handler

Warehouse and inventory professional responsible for receiving, transacting, rotating, kitting, and moving raw materials to support manufacturing operations. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED 2-3 years of experience in a material handling or warehouse role within a manufacturing environment In-depth understanding of inventory management principles, including First-In, First-Out (FIFO) Experience managing materials with strict shelf-life requirements Proficiency using ERP or MRP systems for inventory transactions Experience with cycle counting and maintaining inventory accuracy Certified or able to become certified to operate a forklift Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods Preferred Skills Experience supporting raw material flow in a manufacturing environment Experience with physical inventories and variance investigation Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Job Responsibilities Receive incoming raw materials and verify part numbers and product descriptions for accuracy Note and report discrepancies or damaged materials Perform accurate and timely inventory transactions in the ERP system for receipts, transfers, issues to production, and shipments Adhere to FIFO methodology for all raw materials to ensure proper stock rotation Manage materials with shelf-life requirements, including labeling, storage, and timely issuance to production before expiration Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventories Investigate inventory variances to maintain ERP system accuracy Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials between storage and production areas Pick, kit, and prepare materials for production jobs according to work orders Deliver correct components and quantities to the manufacturing floor Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and stockroom Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Purchasing to support efficient material flow

Pay:
