Warehouse Worker Job Description The primary role of a warehouse worker is to efficiently receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Responsibilities Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. Essential Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Team player with attention to detail. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for effective security operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of experience in a related role. Experience in receiving, scanning, packing, picking, and shipping. Why Work Here? • 2:30PM
• 12:30AM, Sun, Mon, Wed, Thu (2 openings)
• 2:30PM
• 12:30AM, Sun, Mon, Tue, Fri (1 opening)
• 2:30PM
• 12:30AM, Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri (4 openings). Candidates should specify preferred shifts on their resume, ranking preferences if available for multiple options. The workplace emphasizes safety and compliance, with clean and organized facilities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mansfield, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00
• $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
