7am to 3:30pm OR 9am to 5:30pm OR 10:30am to 7pm!
Starting Wage:
$18/hr. - wage will increase quickly once in the role! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Material Handler to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within the warehouse environment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely order fulfillment, maintaining safety standards, and supporting overall warehouse productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with heavy equipment operation, and experience in warehouse management systems. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to streamlined supply chain processes and uphold safety compliance. Duties Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in accordance with OSHA standards. Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process orders. Handle materials with precision, including order picking, load & unload activities, and heavy lifting tasks. Maintain organized storage areas by stacking pallets securely and ensuring proper placement of materials. Assist with shipping & receiving functions by preparing shipments, verifying inventory accuracy, and documenting transactions. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks. Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with supervisors to optimize workflow and ensure timely deliveries. Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Experience Proven warehouse experience with a focus on materials handling, order picking, shipping & receiving. High School Diploma/ GED required
