Material Handler

Description:

Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, has an opportunity for a Material Handler. The Material Handler efficiently and accurately unloads, loads, and stacks commercial tires on and off company vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently unload tires from company vehicles onto pallets following best practice standards and company procedures. Verifies and confirms the paperwork and physical inventory are identical. Assist in safely loading of outbound product onto company vehicles following best practice standards and company procedures. Ability to safely operate company equipment including forklift and pallet jack. Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Follow all operational procedures to protect our assets. Adheres to internal controls, policies and procedures. Perform other distribution related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year of warehouse experience preferred. Forklift certified. Skills/Knowledge Commitment to teamwork, a positive attitude, and customer focused. Understands the importance of being accountable. Physically demanding work. Ability to lift 150 pounds frequently. Able to be on feet for long periods of time.
