Warehouse Worker Job Description As a warehouse worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming materials to verify accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders. You will also be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing customer orders with precision to support daily shipping schedules. Responsibilities Inspect and process incoming materials to ensure accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders to support daily shipping schedules. Maintain organized inventory locations, restock shelves, and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and basic material-handling equipment to safely move products throughout the warehouse. Coordinate with shipping, production, and engineering teams to facilitate timely movement of parts and components. Prepare shipments by labeling, packaging, and staging orders according to internal quality and safety standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment by adhering to company procedures and safety guidelines. Essential Skills Proficiency in material handling and packing. Experience with RF scanners. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes. Inventory management skills. Ability to utilize systems for creating shipping labels and completing shipping documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with shipping systems is beneficial. Willingness to learn international and national shipping procedures. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norwood, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
