First Shift Position Summary:
The Material Handler II is responsible for the accurate and efficient movement, storage, and control of materials within the facility. This role supports production, warehouse, and shipping operations by ensuring materials are received, handled, and distributed in compliance with company procedures and safety standards. The position requires intermediate-level experience and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials aProductst purchase orders and packing slips Accurately pick, pack, stage, and ship materials according to work orders and customer requirements Perform inventory transactions in ERP or warehouse management systems Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counting and reconciliation Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss Support production by delivering materials to designated workstations in a timely manner Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment Identify and report discrepancies, quality issues, or process improvements Assist in training Material Handler I employees as neededQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred Experience with ERP systems or warehouse management systems Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods Basic computer and data entry skillsPreferred Skills:
Knowledge of inventory control practices Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment Understanding of safety and compliance standardsSimilar remote jobs
