Our client is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team and support the accurate and timely management of materials. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for logistics, this opportunity is for you! Responsibilities of the Material Handler Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in the handling and storage of inventory. Execute the distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Participate in material movement using various equipment, including PLTs. Engage in initiatives to update and improve material data stored in Epicor and Omnify. Ensure clean and safe conditions throughout the area of responsibility. Maintain a working knowledge of all tasks of the Material Handling team. Collect and report department KPIs to Leadership as directed. Execute layout changes to warehouse racking at the direction of Leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements of the Material Handler High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of experience in a role responsible for issuing and handling material. Good math skills and intermediate computer knowledge. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience with Epicor or other WMS/ERP systems required. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Previous forklift experience or ability to pass forklift training and exam. Previous experience installing and removing pallet racking preferred.
