Warehouse Operations Specialist Location -
Westford, MA, Onsite Estimated Compensation Range:
Base salary of $55,000 - $65,000, eligible for overtime and discretionary annual bonus Peak Scientific PEAK Scientific is a leading nitrogen generator manufacturer and global expert in high-performance nitrogen gas generator and hydrogen gas generator systems for LC-MS, GC, GC-MS and other applications used in laboratories around the world. Job Overview The Warehouse Operations Specialist is a key member of the operations team ensuring inventory accuracy through timely processing of materials and equipment in and out of the Westford, MA Peak facility, and conducting regular cycle counts. Additionally, as an integral member of the operation you will ensures that all parts and equipment are stored safely securely to prevent product damage and/or injury. Responsibilities Ensure shipments arrive to customer site on time & update ERP/CRM system with tracking number. Coordinate with service schedulers on shipment needs & deadlines to confirm addresses, as necessary, and timely delivery. Participate in day-to-day operations of the warehouse area, including but not limited to picking and packing, shipping/receiving, order processing and fulfilment. Unload and verify deliveries, ensuring that shipping info and proper count is accurate, recording damage prior to accepting, ensuring paperwork is detailed and complete, receiving goods into stock in ERP/CRM and rotate stock when shelving kits. Identify and assemble service kits and complete production orders to fulfil service and spare parts orders, as needed. Utilize ERP/CRM to ensure all shipments, both incoming and outgoing, are properly recorded and maintained to provide accurate count of company stock. Preparation of all required shipping documentation including freight and international shipments and return shipments. Undertake stock counts and checks as and when required by your manager. Off-loading and loading of deliveries and stock movement by hand or using forklift. Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse. Skills and Qualifications Working knowledge of fundamental inventory practices and processes Prior exposure to data entry and core ERP/CRM systems Experience using associated warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, dollies, fork truck, etc. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Sense of urgency with a high attention to detail and the ability to properly prioritize tasks. Ability to communicate verbally formally and professionally and/or through e-mail. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow up skills required. A forklift driver's certification preferred. Physical stamina and ability to lift 25 pounds. Ability to work independently demonstrating initiative. Be an advocate for safety and safe work practices. Skilled in Microsoft Office suite, and associated software applications.
