General Labor/Warehouse Associate

Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a General Labor/Warehouse Associate, where your energy and dedication will drive our logistics operations forward! First Step Staffing currently has opportunities opening in the coming weeks across a range of positions, including entry-level and skilled roles. These include warehouse work, recycling and sorting positions, general labor, garbage truck helper and sanitation support roles, order picking and warehouse picking (including furniture and large-item warehouses), laundry and textile processing positions, as well as CDL driver positions and diesel mechanic roles. Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely—certifications are a plus. Mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of materials handling tools like RF scanners and packaging equipment. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting regularly and work on your feet for extended periods. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining attention to detail in order picking & packing tasks.
