As a Production Utility Worker, you will perform cleanup duties around the facility to ensure a safe work environment for all employees, and cross train in various machine operator roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. A desire for continuous improvement and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers increasing demands.

ResponsibilitiesAssists operators in processing corrugated sheets according to written specifications/diagrams and prepares product for the next operation Responsible for assisting with routine machine set-ups, quality checks (including proper measurements) and should recognize potential problems with the product. Following safety policies and procedures Reading factory orders Utilizing basic shop math such as accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other testing equipment. Accurately completing quality and checks to ensure specific directions are followed. The ability to practice great housekeeping Candidates must have the ability to work overtime as needed. LANGUAGE SKILLS

Able to read and follow instructions on specs.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

The individual must have a working knowledge of the following: Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation. Product layouts and production specifications Product quality specifications Quality standards

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
