Job Description

General Laborer or Technician Position Summary We are seeking dependable and safety-focused General Laborers to support facility improvements on the robotics floor. This role plays a key part in enhancing workplace safety through the installation of metal fencing and related materials. Responsibilities also include floor preparation, cleaning, and handling materials and inventory. This is a physically demanding position within a fast-paced, high-noise warehouse environment that requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Remove tape from floors and clean assigned work areas to meet safety and operational standards. Move, stage, and organize inventory efficiently and accurately. Assist with the installation of metal fencing on the robotics floor. Build, assemble, and install metal frames and gating using hand and power tools. Drill into concrete surfaces using appropriate power tools and techniques. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite. Demonstrate consistent punctuality, reliability, and professionalism. Essential Skills and Abilities Hands-on experience using hand and power tools (e.g., drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, hammers, torque wrenches). Mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow assembly and installation instructions. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods in a physically demanding role. Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure. Prior experience in construction, carpentry, industrial maintenance, or similar trades. Experience with mechanical assembly or installation projects. Familiarity with inventory handling, staging, or quality assurance processes. Work Environment and Schedule This role is based in a climate-controlled warehouse environment that can be loud and fast-paced. Work areas may be busy and require heightened situational awareness at all times.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Edgemere, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
