Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Laborer, where your energy and dedication will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting inventory management, materials handling, and order fulfillment processes within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth shipping and receiving, accurate stock control, and efficient movement of goods using heavy equipment. Duties Load and unload shipments efficiently using forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Assist with inventory control by conducting stock counts, verifying inventory accuracy with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS), and updating records in AS400 or similar systems. Support order picking, packing, and shipping activities by accurately selecting products with order pickers or other equipment to fulfill customer orders promptly. Handle materials safely during manufacturing or construction-related tasks, ensuring proper stocking and storage of goods within designated areas. Operate heavy equipment for materials handling, including forklifts, crane operations, and mechanical knowledge to support warehouse distribution activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency while complying with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory management tasks such as cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory audits. Requirements Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in inventory management systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Valid certification for operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or heavy equipment; experience with crane operation is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods; physical stamina is essential. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation and maintenance. Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols including OSHA regulations. Experience in shipping & receiving processes along with order fulfillment procedures such as order picking & packing. Excellent attention to detail for inventory control tasks such as RF scanning and stock verification; previous warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous.
