Atlantic Marina 2010 Knollview Avenue Pasadena, MD 21122 Job Summary Atlantic Marina is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dockhand to join our team. The Dockhand will assist with daily marina operations, ensuring the safe and efficient docking and undocking of boats, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the marina, and providing excellent customer service to boaters and visitors. Key Responsibilities Assist boaters with docking and undocking vessels safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of docks, piers, and marina facilities. Handle lines, fenders, and other equipment to secure boats. Monitor marina grounds and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs. Provide friendly and professional customer service to marina guests and boat owners. Assist with launching and retrieving boats as needed. Support marina staff with various operational tasks and special projects. Follow all safety protocols and marina policies. Qualifications Previous experience in a marina, boating, or related field preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Basic knowledge of boating and marine terminology is a plus. Valid driver's license preferred.
