General Laborer Job Description This role involves assembling containers used for shipping goods in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. You will perform basic but highly physical and repetitive assembly tasks that support efficient packing and shipment of products. Responsibilities Assemble containers used for shipping goods according to established procedures and quality standards. Perform basic assembly tasks that are repetitive and require consistent attention to detail. Lift and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more throughout the shift. Carry out duties that involve frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and other physical movements. Work as part of a team to meet daily production and packing goals. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow. Essential Skills Strong work ethic and reliability in a production environment. Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently throughout the workday. Ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching. Strong English comprehension skills to understand instructions and safety information. Comfort working in a general labor, packing, or production setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in general labor, packing, or production is helpful but not required. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a beautiful, new facility alongside a collaborative team. The schedule runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the potential to leave earlier on Fridays. The environment is production-oriented and physically demanding, with frequent lifting, bending, twisting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Auburn, ME. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
