Temp-to-Hire We're hiring a Material Handler for a leading food production client in Saco, ME! Typical daily duties:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
- Supply production and packaging lines with necessary materials
- Load and unload trailers while verifying counts and documentation
- Perform scanning, labeling, and inventory tracking transactions
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
- Inspect materials for damage or errors and report issues promptly
- Follow
FIFO / FEFO
processes to ensure proper material rotation
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and GMP standards
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe What we're looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution preferred
- Experience operating forklifts or PIT equipment (certification preferred)
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with
ERP / WMS
systems ( SAP a plus)
