Job Title:
Warehouse Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker for a temp-to-hire position in Westbrook, ME. This role involves working in a dynamic manufacturing warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Key duties include loading, unloading, verifying quantities, and scanning products in and out of inventory. You will also be responsible for resupplying various departments with materials and transporting finished goods back to the warehouse. This position requires good communication and basic math skills, along with at least one year of experience in a similar setting. Responsibilities Load and unload products efficiently. Verify product quantities and ensure accuracy in inventory. Scan products in and out of inventory using RF scanners. Resupply multiple departments with necessary materials. Transport finished goods back to the warehouse. Maintain communication with team members to ensure smooth operations. Essential Skills 1+ year experience in warehouse or material handling. Proficient in communication and math skills. English communication skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with pallet jacks. Familiarity with inventory systems. Experience in food manufacturing is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The facility in Westbrook employs around 120 people, with about 80 in production. Despite being a food manufacturing environment, it is clean and well-organized. The dress code includes shoes and jeans, with hair nets and smocks provided to candidates. Working hours typically start between 6am and 7am and end around 3pm, depending on the workload. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westbrook, ME. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
