Job Description
Overview This position is responsible for receiving incoming bulk fluid products and maintaining all report documents. Additionally, this position will be responsible for loading Rowleys' bulk trucks according to written bulk loading order sheet for each tuck. Primary Responsibilities Loading Rowleys' tank trucks Loading of totes for Rowleys' box trucks Performing written quality control procedures on incoming and outgoing bulk & kit production Unloading of incoming bulk Maintaining cleanliness of bulk plant and loading areas Operate all vehicles safely Obey all guidelines as required by DOT and Rowleys Competencies Communication Self-motivated Timeliness Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 75 pounds routinely throughout assigned work schedule as well as roll a 55-gallon drums and carry freight on uneven surfaces. The employee must be capable of pulling and pushing large skids with the assistance of an electric pallet jack. The employee must be able to climb steps in and out of a truck cab. The employee must have the ability to climb and work on the top of tank trucks. The employee will work in both warm and cold conditions. Additionally, the employee must maintain a medical card, by passing a DOT physical prior to hire and periodically as mandated by DOT along with random DOT drug/alcohol screenings. Required Experience CDL A with airbrakes 1+ year driving experience 21+ years old High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Experience 1+ year of forklift experience Hazmat endorsement (company will assist in obtaining) Tanker endorsement (company will assist in obtaining) Electric pallet jacks Hours Full time hourly position, Monday through Friday.
