Job Description
This is a 3rd shift position. Monday - Friday, 11:45pm - 8:00 am Job Summary A Material Handler is responsible to move, store, and handle materials in the production facility. This position will play a key role in the supply chain and logistics. Duties/Responsibilities Maintaining a safe work environment by following safety protocols. Learn and use Plex and Cella Programs. Organizing stock in the warehouse efficiently using forklift and pallets. Assisting in auditing Component/Finished Goods Inventories. Promptly delivering needed Components from Component Locations to actively running machines. Count, Verify and Initial Finished Goods and WIP Tags and move to proper location. Identifying, locating, and loading the correct products to the machine during the Production Process. Removing all left-over Product from Machines when a Production Job is finished. Returning to correct Locations. Keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting daily equipment checks. Shop Cleanliness. When required help support the Shipping/Receiving Department. Loading, Unloading and or Staging Product. Other duties as assigned.
