30 PM [Must be available for overtime when required] Job Summary for the General Laborer Parts Finishing and Deburring We are seeking a detail-oriented General Laborer to join our machine shop team. The primary responsibility of this role is the deburring and finishing of machined parts to ensure they meet strict quality and safety standards. You will be the final line of defense in ensuring our components are smooth, professional, and ready for assembly or shipment. Key Responsibilities for the General Laborer Parts Finishing and Deburring
    Precision Deburring:
    Use hand tools (deburring knives, files, scrapers) and power tools (die grinders, orbital sanders, bench grinders) to remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from metal or plastic parts.
      Surface Finishing:
      Clean, polish, and buff parts to achieve specified surface finishes using abrasive pads or wire wheels.
        Quality Inspection:
        Visually inspect parts against blueprints or "gold standard" samples to ensure all sharp edges are removed without damaging the integrity of the machined features.
          Shop Maintenance:
          Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workspace, including sweeping, emptying chip bins, and organizing material stock.
            Machine Assistance:
            Occasionally assist CNC operators with loading/unloading material or secondary operations as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications for the General Laborer Parts Finishing and Deburring
              Manual Dexterity:
              Ability to work with small parts and hand tools for extended periods.

              A "perfectionist" mindset to catch small defects that others might miss.
                Physical Stamina:
                Must be able to stand for the duration of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
