Yard Worker

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Yard Worker and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! You will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized yard environment. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes. Must have a chauffeurs license, CDL is a bonus. Responsibilities Load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment Assist with order picking and shipping & receiving tasks to ensure timely delivery of goods Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to organize yard space and optimize workflow efficiency Qualifications Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, clamp trucks, crane, and load & unload machinery Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and materials handling processes Previous warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not required Construction or industrial background can be beneficial for understanding heavy equipment use

Pay:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
