  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team.
In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within our facility. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse management systems will ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Duties Load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process orders Conduct order picking with various equipment such as pickers and ensure accuracy in shipping & receiving tasks Manage the movement of materials within the warehouse, including stacking, organizing, and storing inventory efficiently Assist with crane operations for handling large or heavy items requiring mechanical knowledge and specialized equipment Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices Support warehouse supervisors in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and shipping & receiving processes Skilled in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing Experience with OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety protocols Excellent attention to detail when using RF scanners for accurate order fulfillment Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership opportunities Construction or industrial background enhances understanding of heavy equipment operation and safety procedures #
