General Laborer - Powder Coating

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and versatile General Laborer - Powder Coater to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various powder coating projects across various custom equipment. Your hands-on expertise will help bring our forestry equipment to life. Duties Assist with surface preparation including sand blasting, phosphate washing and applying primer to ensure optimal powder adhesion Operate hand tools and power tools safely for painting, drilling and cutting Mix paints and coatings accurately using basic math skills to achieve the desired color and finish according to schematics or blueprints Occasionally apply paint using spray equipment suitable for the project scope Support manufacturing activities by drilling and cutting material when needed Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure precise execution of tasks Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and handling hazardous materials responsibly Experience Prior experience in powder coating and painting is highly preferred Hands-on experience with band saws, drills and cut off wheels Familiarity with blueprint reading Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and mixing paints or materials accurately Demonstrated understanding of safety standards including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
