Job Description
Basic Function Responsible for supporting press room, laser, fabrication, assembly departments and other. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities To support laser department, cutting and deburring of parts. Support spot-welding department, spot welding and clean of assemblies. To support press room, shearing and stamping of parts. Support shipping department, packaging and driving as needed. (chuffers license req'd) Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety. Operate angle grinders and wire wheels in order to deburr parts. Analyzing and problem-solving issues with projects. Able to operate Hilo's and other material handling equipment as needed. (Hilo license req'd) To operate punch press adding tooling holes. Take pride in work and produce quality parts. Keep departments / shop clean and orderly. Scanning in and out of jobs using the ERP system. Other duties when requested. Skills & Qualifications Experience using a variety of hand tools. Experience in using metal cutting tools, tape measures and calipers. Must be able to interpret blue prints. Must be able to read and understand specifications, work orders, bill of materials, and work instructions. Ability to communicate quality non-conformances verbally and effectively present information to supervisor, co-workers and management. Knowledge of relative Ability to work in a TEAM environment.
